About

Mr. Hancock earned a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2024. His academic work focused on civil litigation related to government contracts, national security, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

During law school, Mr. Hancock interned at the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Homeland Security, the General Services Administration, and the Department of Justice. The majority of his legal work centered on civil litigation and government contracts. Additionally, Mr. Hancock worked as a law clerk for a small government contracts firm, served on the editorial board of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, and represented clients as a student attorney in GW Law’s Immigration Law Clinic. He also worked as a research assistant for Professor Christopher Yukins, drafting congressionally mandated reports related to government contracts litigation and compliance.

After law school, Mr. Hancock founded GovConCyber, a website dedicated to educating and assisting federal and state government contractors with cybersecurity requirements. Lawyer Monthly, an international legal magazine, named Mr. Hancock the 2024 Public Contract Lawyer of the Year for his work on GovConCyber.

Mr. Hancock was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 2024.
